About my Business:
I have a private practice in psychotherapy called Integrative Psychotherapy. I hold specialty training in bereavement counseling, depression, anxiety and trauma recovery, and I am a level two EMDR clinician.
I am passionate about helping others resolve trauma and negotiate difficult life transitions in pursuit of a higher quality of life. I am trauma recovery specialist assisting in PTSD resolution, dissociative disorders, grief, depression and anxiety.
I am licensed by the state of North Carolina as an LPC, Licensed Professional Counselor and nationally by the NBCC, the National Board for Certified Counselors.
Additionally, I began mindfulness meditation training in 1984 and continues to teach meditation skills to individuals and groups.
I am also a member of ISSD International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation and EMDRIA, the EMDR International Association.
About Me:
I am a psychotherapist specializing in trauma recovery. I have lived in Asheville since 1993. I was raised in California though my mother is from Barnardsville.
I am an ardent enthusiast about dancing the Argentine Tango, singing Jazz, and hiking with my dog, Angel. I am looking forward to helping my community on both a local and national level as a Red Cross Disaster Mental Health Care Counselor.
