Have you invited the people in your email address books to join inSide828?
Launching a new community has its own growth cycle. Some lay dormant with just a few participants for a long time before they start to grow, others grow like wild flowers in the mountains, fast and ready. Each community will grow in its own unique way.
On inSide919 which is my home community, I am now in phone communication with about a dozen people who I met on inSide919, some who have become friends already, others who are business associates of one kind or another. It has accelerated my networking and my resources. So when I invite you and others to reach out and invite your friends and business associates to join this free local network, it is from genuine personal experience that I can say, it's valuable, let's help it work for each other.
If you would like to invite your friends, you can do so on the upper right side of your inSide828 page, underneath your name, below Inbox, where it says Friends - Invite.
Click Invite and you'll be invited to chose an email carrier, like yahoo, or aol, and to type in your password. Once in, you'll get to click on which people you'd like to invite (or to unclick everyone and then click the ones you want) to join, and an email will go out to them. I think you can chose to add your own invitation to it.
In my experience some people joined right away ( a few), some joined in time, and some never joined. One never knows at what point our friends or acquaintances will jump aboard and try this new medium.
